Shopify & WooCommerce
On Shopify or WooCommerce you do not need to write code — our app and plugin use this API for you.
Shopify#
- In Integrations, connect a Shopify store with its
yourstore.myshopify.comdomain and create a key. - Install the MarkitMall app from the Integrations page and paste the key.
- Import products from the app's Catalog. They stock at a "MarkitMall" location.
- On the app's home page press Set up delivery rates. This gives the MarkitMall location MarkitMall's own delivery charges, so imported products can be bought (see below).
Orders with MarkitMall products are sent to us automatically, tracking comes back to the Shopify order, and Shopify emails your customer. Your own products in the same cart are left alone. The store currency must be PKR.
Imported products show "Sold out"
Shopify shows a product as Sold out when the location holding its stock has no delivery rates — and the MarkitMall location is new, so it has none. The app's Set up delivery ratesbutton fixes this in one click: it creates a "MarkitMall dropshipping" shipping profile for the imported products, shipping to Pakistan at the charges below. Products you import later are added to it automatically. To do it by hand instead:
- In Shopify admin open Settings → Shipping and delivery and select your shipping profile.
- Under "Not shipping from this location" find MarkitMall and click Add rates (or create a zone for Pakistan for it).
- Add a rate for each weight range below (Add rate → Add conditions → Based on item weight).
| Parcel weight | MarkitMall delivery charge |
|---|---|
| Up to 0.5 kg | Rs 150 |
| 0.5 – 1 kg | Rs 200 |
| 1 – 2 kg | Rs 250 |
| 2 – 5 kg | Rs 350 |
| 5 – 10 kg | Rs 500 |
| Above 10 kg | Rs 500 + Rs 30 per extra kg |
These are what MarkitMall charges you for delivery, so charging your customer the same keeps your margin intact. A per-city surcharge, if any, is added on top, and items from different MarkitMall stores ship as separate parcels. The store currency must be PKR.
WooCommerce#
- In Integrations, connect a WooCommerce store and download the plugin.
- In WordPress: Plugins → Add New → Upload Plugin, then activate it.
- Under WooCommerce → MarkitMall, paste the key and secret and press "Save and connect".
- Import products from WooCommerce → MarkitMall Catalog.
Requires WordPress 6.2+, WooCommerce 7.6+ and PHP 7.4+. Works with HPOS and the block checkout.
Test first
Use a test key (mk_test_…) while you set up: orders go through the whole flow without shipping. See Sandbox & testing.Anything else#
Any other platform, a custom website, a mobile app backend or an ERP can use the API directly — start with the Quickstart.
